The Cochrane Speech-Language Therapy (CSTC) offers private speech-therapy services to all ages. We serve children in preschools and kindergartens with Alberta Learning Funding, and provide services for families receiving Alberta Government Family Services for Children with Disabilities (FSCD). We serve Cochrane and the surrounding area including Calgary, Bragg Creek, and Morley.
We were established in September 1996 as Cochrane Language & Learning Centre (CLLC). For many years we also provided other language and learning services including Pronunciation of English as a Second Language, Literacy programming, Educational Tutoring, Suzuki Infant Music Programs, a Suzuki based preschool literacy program, and even Yoga. Since 1996, the need for speech-therapy services has eclipsed other Language-and-Learning activities. Beginning in 2016 our new name is Cochrane Speech-Language Therapy Centre (CSTC) to better reflect what we now do.
Our mission is service; we serve great people with great staff and a positive attitude. The main way we serve is through Speech-Language Therapy.
